When Alex sees a news report about a dog that paints portraits that look remarkably like her, she, Justin and Max discover that Mason is being held by rogue wizards who’ve turned him into a dog. Meanwhile, Jerry and Theresa go on an anniversary weekend and are alarmed to learn that the Russo kids have left Harper and Zeke to run the sub shop.

The Russo family is taken into custody by a secret government agency which suspects they’re wizards. After escaping, the family must figure out a way to save themselves and their powers without exposing the wizard world.
